2. Authorization & Rules of Engagement

All offensive security activities, including penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and configuration reviews, are performed under strict authorization:

• Explicit Authorization: Security testing is conducted exclusively on targets, systems, networks, and applications for which the client has explicitly documented legal ownership or written authorization to test.
• Rules of Engagement (RoE): Scope boundaries, testing windows, and restricted techniques are formally defined in a signed Statement of Work (SOW) prior to execution.

3. Intellectual Property

All content on this website—including logos, design assets, text, graphics, and custom code—is the property of Cyethics and protected under applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

• Deliverables Ownership: Upon full payment of engagement fees, clients receive full operational ownership of their specific security assessment reports and remediation guidelines.

4. Limitation of Liability

While Cyethics executes assessments according to strict industry standards and scoping controls to minimize operational impact:

• Cyethics is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential disruptions occurring outside the agreed-upon Rules of Engagement.
• Vulnerability reports reflect system security posture at the exact time of testing and do not guarantee complete immunity against future zero-day exploits or unauthorized changes.

5. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to treat all technical infrastructure details, vulnerability findings, security data, and business operations disclosed during inquiries or engagements as strictly confidential.

6. Governing Law & Modifications

Cyethics reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Continued use of our website or services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
